Anonymous asked: I feel like clean eating can get boring just eating chicken and vegetables. Do you have any suggestions on what to eat? Thank you!
I like to follow people on IG who post recipes and whatnot. Also, I do research on healthier alternatives and watch YouTube videos. I simply like to educate myself with fitness and proper nutrition. Clean eating can be fun :]
Anonymous asked: What is IIFYM?
If It Fits Your Macros
Anonymous asked: I can't even do a single pull up or push up :( Is that sad?? Any advice on how I can gain upper body strength to do them?
It’s okay. I started off not being able to do any of those upper body exercises either. I was so ashamed. Trust me when I say this; consistency is key. I worked my ass off to get to where I am now. Didn’t know how to do a pull up or push up, would always fall on my face and just felt so weak, but now I can lift my own body weight up. Day in and day out I would work on upper body because that was my main weakness. Just keep at it and YOU WILL GET THERE. Takes time, and I was patient. What really helped me was the assisted pull up/dip machine and free weights. That’s all it really took me, and I was consistent with it. Then I bought a pull up bar and started busting them every single day at home also.
Anonymous asked: What is your take on IIFYM?
I’ve tried it. I think it’s good to start off with because I know how hard it is to eat completely clean. Definitely not easy, but flexible dieting can work for some people. But I saw a big difference with iifym and clean eating. Definitely see results faster with clean eating.
